Viking Sky cruises hit by high waves up to 26 feet in the Norwegian Sea. Viking Sky cruises begin to sway amid gusts of wind at speeds of 50 mph. Passengers said the conditions were comparable to ‘being on the Titanic’, they were very afraid that the ship would sink.
A very complicated situation made Viking Sky passengers wear rescue jackets and waited to be evacuated on Saturday. Approximately 1,300 passengers and crew were rescued using helicopters.
